Isn’t struggling a part of life? It is. Everyone has had to struggle in life whereas others are fortunate enough to prosper and never had to struggle. You might always find yourself in situations that are not in your favor and having absolutely no power to help yourself or anyone else around you in need and you gonna think it’s the end of the world but 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 paints a different picture: “Even though we are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.” Suffering may press in from every direction, but it does not have the final word — it cannot crush or destroy what God is holding. Even in the thick of struggle, we are always sustained, carried through by a strength that isn’t our own for God provides.

Any situation can weigh you down but with God nothing is above what the heavens can work in your favor and it all falls down to having faith in God and trusting he can change absolutely any situation and season of your life if you just believe. There ain’t no way you can ever go through struggles without faith in God and think you can have sustainability and peace through it all. It is God that makes the battle easy and the load not too hard to carry through. Believing he is a provider and he is Abba father — putting your faith in God and trusting God to supply everything you need. Loving and believing in God enough to never let each and every battle withhold God’s mercy from manifesting in and through you or even affect your faith. Hold on to the fulfilment that comes from knowing God loves you even if you find yourself depressed and in situations that might make you doubt God’s provision. Know that God has never and will never forsake you even when there were times you went through struggles that didn’t make sense at all. Philippians 4:6 states “Therefore do not be too anxious about anything, but in everything through prayer and supplication, tell God what you need and thank Him for what he has done.”

Believing God is a provider sounds like living a fairytale — waking up one day never having to worry about waking up one day needing to wake up like literally waking up and just having everything come to you easily. Unfortunately you end up suffering waiting for a fairytale to come true with life sending you back and forth leaving you to struggle left, right and center and it all falls down to accountability. Where are you now? Where do you see yourself in the next five years? What have you done for yourself this year? What are you capable of apart from just having faith in God that even goes without works? What do you have to show for your hard work and God’s favor when all is said and done? Are you trying to find a job? Are you working towards a worthwhile project of any sort? Proverbs 14:23 states: “All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty”. You don’t have to have your life figured out completely or even be a part of something bigger than where you are now but at least you should be working towards getting yourself to the next level of your life. Be it emotionally, mentally, physically or financially. You can even begin your self-development journey by being the best version of yourself mentally and then take it from there.

Life is a journey and your life is your journey. It is up to you to decide if you are going to prosper or suffer even though there are situations that may seem to be completely out of your control. Through it all it is up to you to make the best of every moment and situation even if it may not be in your favor. I believe in fulfilment and the best fulfilment begins from the moments you create yourself and the life you build for yourself and everything else is just gonna be a cherry on top. The life you build for yourself doesn’t have to be luxury but should be fulfilling enough to keep you afloat —mentally and emotionally set for life and if you are ever lucky enough to make it bigger in this life over and over again then that’s gonna be more cherries on top. Psalms 128:2 says “You shall eat the fruits of your labor. Blessings and prosperity shall be yours.” Don’t just expect to prosper but you must work towards prosperity and having a fruitful life and then expect God is gonna be meeting you halfway there in.

Best believe God has your back and be easy on yourself and never let the struggle or the stress take over you.
And trust that God is gonna get you through the struggle but faith without works is pointless.
The struggle is always gonna be there so remember to be there for yourself through it and know God’s mercy shall never forsake you.
And then take a pen and paper and write down every dream, pray and work towards it. 😊🌸
